My Favorite Ten Images from Week 8 of My Wanderings - Feb 21 -Feb 27, 2022 - Rainbows, Sea Lion Breath and Bird Games

I was tired after our road trip to Solvang last week.   I took nice long relaxing walks, enjoyed the views and enjoyed the quest of finding images.

Nesting materials.

Sea Lion breath.

This moon's for you Phil - they always are1
Missing the hell out of you.

Okay - I love this hat!

What's new??  64 new experiences in 2022
A new experience for each one of my years on the planet.

#8 new experience
My daughter Nicole gave me a computer game called Wingspan for my birthday. It is a board game that is online.  We can play the game together and chat while we do it.  I love it!  A new experience, I'm learning all kinds of new things.

We had a frosty morning at the beginning of the week and I caught the Sea Lions breath!

I also took a few pictures of the Tin Cannery in Pacific Grove because rumor has it, it is in the processes of going away.  Phil and I walked in the building when the weather wasn't good for walking outside.  At one time it was a great place to shop.....I will miss it.

365 days of images - - Day 55 - Feb 23, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Ring or no Ring

(click on image below to online store)

It seems that walking 10 miles yesterday made me sleep like a baby.  I took my time getting out of bed this morning.  I still made the sunrise with a quick jog, it was worth the run.
This morning as I walked I reflected on the fact that I still feel married, I don't feel any different about Phil than I did before he died.  I tell him I love him everyday, I still wear my wedding bands as well as his on a necklace and the feeling that lives within me still feels connected to him.  I looked up online about should I continue to wear my ring, it seems that it is what I decide.  I like wearing it and will continue to do so until I decide otherwise.  I love wearing his around my neck, I grab it whenever I need a little reassurance.  It makes me feel connected to him.  I can't imagine that I will ever want to take it off, I guess it is one day at a time and I just go with the flow.  But for now I'm sticking to what I'm doing.  Weird that I even think about that....
I love my ring and it helps me, I guess that is what is important.
I enjoyed my walk this morning, the fresh air and exercise seem to be making me mentally and physically stronger.  A positive in so many ways.....

Kissing rock.

The power of a wave moving logs.

A beach house.

Point Pino's Lighthouse

and a darling subject.

For Phil:
You are my muse
I miss and love you.

365 days of images - - Day 18 - Jan. 17, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- A WTF Kind of Day

Please click on the image below to my online store.

Today was one of those days.....My energy was out of whack.  There was big waves, which I usually thrive on, today creativity lulled on me.  I guess to be expected when you are are taking images everyday, but it just seemed I couldn't pull my shit together.  Forgot my mask to start the day off, has to back to retrieve it.  Ran out of water to spray my windows, the sea spray took advantage of me.  I locked my keys and phone at the house I'm pet sitting in.  I seemed to struggle getting my photos together.  Worked into the night and early morning going through them, only to be unsatisfied.

Then I watched the news and I have to say WTF?  I mean it WTF is going on???

Anyway......the morning was hard, I got about 6 miles of walking under my belt and these are some of the images I mustered up.

I started the morning at Lovers Point, as I so often do, because sunrise there is always spectacular.  This morning I was nervous because another local photographer had been sexually harassed on the beach very recently.  Three different friends sent me her post describing what happened.  It made me nervous, but I hate to let one asshole ruin the whole thing.  When I got there I noticed many people all over the park, I think there was a showing of support for her.  I will be on guard, but I don't want to be pushed around by messed up people.  WTF??

I proceeded to Asilomar and found pink skies.

I recently watched "The History of Swearing" on Netflix.  They seemed to think that swearing would help work out the angst.  Obviously I'm giving that a try.  Ha!  It does seem to be working.

For Phil
I'm sure you know how much I miss you.

365 days of images - - Day 17 - Jan. 16, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Morning at Asilomar Beach

Please click the image below to my online store.

The clouds and the iridescent beach were the stars this morning.  My walk at Asilomar Beach and surrounding area this morning was relaxing.  I allowed myself to be taken in by the beauty.

The birds were finding crabs, the waves were pretty in the morning light and the walk was peaceful.

As I left the beach, I noticed these two.

Trees and plant life looked pretty in the sunlight.

There is a little pink house that I always told Phil was my dream house.  Phil would laugh because of the color, he said it was Pepto Pink.  I still love the house and think of him every time I pass by.

For Phil:
I yearn for your hugs
