First the beach, I watched the waves, felt the power and enjoyed the spray on my face.

The whale is still breaking down on Asilomar.  It has been there since the end of June.  The birds were working on it today, I have seen coyote eating in the past.

A turkey vulture had it's eye on the decaying whale as well.

Sharpening it's beak on a rock.

I weaved back through the neighborhoods to get home.

I'm still just moving through life one moment and one flower at a time.

Oh Phil would have loved this truck, what a beauty!

I know if Phil could give a message, he would want his fellow firefighters to make sure they are using all their safety protocol.  His brain cancer is suspected to be a result of his time being a firefighter.  Phil was a firefighter for Fayetteville, Arkansas, Eureka Springs Fire Dept and 188th Wing in the Air National Guard in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  The whole time I was afraid for him as he fought fires, what got him was a silent foe in brain cancer.  I asked him if he had regrets being a firefighter, he replied, "no, that it was his dream and he loved his job and the people that he worked with".

For Phil
Love and miss you.

365 days of images - - Day 125 - May 4, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- May the Fourth be with You

Phil loved Star Wars and the last couple of months of his life, he would go on marathons of watching all of the movies, from start to finish.  From Phil I say, "May the forth be with you"  I'm doing my best to be gentle with myself right now.  This year has been one of adjustment, healing and waves of grief.  Today I was tired, I still walked 6 miles, but my creativity - not so much.  I was disappointed in my images, I will try again tomorrow.  Napping was the activity of the afternoon and I feel better for it.

For Phil
I gave thought to what message you would want me to deliver.
You told me that you would do everything in your life including being a firefighter again.  Even though that the chemicals used in fighting fires is suspected in being a cause for your cancer.
I feel that your message would be to the firefighters and it would be - make sure you follow all your safety protocol.  I know you loved being a firefighter.....and your brothers in the fire department.
I miss you.
I will never forget what you went through and the courage you had as you went through it.
You will always be my hero.
