365 days of images - - Day 338- Dec 6, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Bird Feeding Frenzy at Asilomar Beach

Sunrise at Asilomar State Beach was filled with birds.  There was a feeding frenzy that filled the beach with birds.  They flew up and down the beach catching fish.  I spend 2 hours on the beach, running up and down having a ball taking photos of birds.  A little bit of heaven....

For Phil
Missing you!  My mind flashed to all the times you were pointing out birds for me to take images of.  I never see an egret or heron that don't hear you telling me that they are there.

365 days of images - - Day 305- Nov. 03, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Foggy Asilomar Beach - Waves, birds and lots of surfers

Very foggy start to the day, the marine layer was thick.  Asilomar Beach was the destination.

The sun tried to peek out from behind the clouds.

Tide was coming in and the waves were big.

Surfing was exciting, even from the shore.

Back through the dunes.

For Phil
Remembering the time we were in Vegas and the Madonna impersonator called you onto stage.  She gave you a great big kiss and left lips on your cheek.  You wore her lipstick on your cheek the rest of the evening.  Still makes me laugh.
Missing you

365 days of images - - Day 211 - July 29, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Coyotes, Pelicans and Beauty on Asilomar State Beach

What a morning!  Foggy but beautiful at Asilomar State Beach.  First I was greeted by all kinds of  birds, I love to watch and listen to them.
I took some video as I arrived.  I still need practice, but I'm having fun and learning something new too.
Thanks to Noelle for helping me with editing!

Surfers and pretty waves.

Pelicans!  Diving, flying and preening themselves.  I love them, dinosaur like birds!

When I started to head back down the beach I noticed something moving around the decomposing whale that is still on the beach.  It ran toward the dunes as people headed toward it.  I moved closer and watched, I ended up spotting three coyotes in the dunes.  I believe they were feeding on the whale.

Low tide, I can't resist a trip to the tide pools.

For Phil
I'm planning on visiting some spots that we loved soon.
I'm filled with apprehension and excitement all at once.
I miss you looking at my images, your opinion and love meant the world to me.
I know that you would love what I have been doing!
I miss you.
