My Favorite Ten Images from Week 8 of My Wanderings - Feb 21 -Feb 27, 2022 - Rainbows, Sea Lion Breath and Bird Games

I was tired after our road trip to Solvang last week.   I took nice long relaxing walks, enjoyed the views and enjoyed the quest of finding images.

Nesting materials.

Sea Lion breath.

This moon's for you Phil - they always are1
Missing the hell out of you.

Okay - I love this hat!

What's new??  64 new experiences in 2022
A new experience for each one of my years on the planet.

#8 new experience
My daughter Nicole gave me a computer game called Wingspan for my birthday. It is a board game that is online.  We can play the game together and chat while we do it.  I love it!  A new experience, I'm learning all kinds of new things.

We had a frosty morning at the beginning of the week and I caught the Sea Lions breath!

I also took a few pictures of the Tin Cannery in Pacific Grove because rumor has it, it is in the processes of going away.  Phil and I walked in the building when the weather wasn't good for walking outside.  At one time it was a great place to shop.....I will miss it.

365 days of images - - Day 286- Oct. 12, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- I can't believe it has been 286 days!

I can't believe I'm on day 286 out of 365 days of images.  This has by far been the biggest challenge I have set for myself.  I have walked further than I ever have, over 1000 miles so far.  Just to work on something every day has been hard and yet so rewarding.  While going through the 4 1/2 years of Phil's journey with cancer we learned that walking, taking in the beauty around us and just enjoying each other's company was what was important.  I have just taken this way of thinking and used it to heal after Phil passed away.  He didn't have a memorial due to the Covid virus, and this has given me a way to remember and honor him.  He set quite an example of courage plus showed those in his life, love and appreciation every single day.  I am proud of him on so many levels.  He was by far the kindest human I have ever met.   I'm proud of myself as well and I'm doing my best to make this 365 day journey into something that is beautiful and dedicated to our love.

On my walk....

For Phil
We walked, took in beauty, talked and loved.
I think of our moments together with profound love and try to take in the healing energy around me..
I will always love and miss you.

I was always running to catch back up to you, after stopping to take pictures.

Foggy to start the morning in Pacific Grove but the sun was soon breaking through the marine layer.

Nice size waves.

Deer activity in the dunes.

For Phil
Santa Barbara.... has been playing in my mind.  Where we met, visited as often as we could and many many happy memories there.  The photo below is from the Santa Barbara Zoo.  One very splendid day, a couple of months before we found out you had cancer.  Santa Barbara Inn, breakfast at East Beach and dinner on Ledbetter Beach.  All of it locked into my heart.  A perfect day!
I miss you.
