The sky had color in the east as the sun was rising, but if you looked toward the west, the skies were dark and full of rain clouds. I had a hard time keeping the moisture off the lens of my camera and glasses. Didn't matter!
Pink reflected on the bay, the sand and the air was filled with sea spray and a slight rain.
The sky changes as the sun comes up. I run from one point to another trying to get different perspectives of the same sunrise. It is amazing how different one morning sky can be.
I like to look at the details and take myself right into the clouds.
When I got tired of fighting with cleaning my lens, I headed into Pacific Grove proper to do a little window shopping. It still drizzled on me, but it was a little better, protected by the buildings.
I haven't had a haircut since right before we went into shut down last March, pushing a year now. It's getting long! Seemed like a good Covid image.
The rain started to get heavier and I had to head back to my car that was parked by Lovers Point. Not far from where I was, but a wet walk. I like walking in a light rain, it feels refreshing and cleansing.
The rain let up for a minute and I ran around taking just a few more images before it was time to head home to have breakfast with Noelle.
To Good Mornings!
For Philly:
I miss breakfasts together!
