365 days of images - - Day 252- Sept. 08, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Heart to Heart leading to Murals in Sand City

This morning as I walked, I talked to my sister on the phone.  She has been visiting our parents, my dad's health has recently taken a turn for the worse.  He has been suffering with Alzheimer's and has taken a couple of falls lately.  She has been making sure that I get to talk to him, keeps me filled in on what is going on and has been a wonderful support to me, the family and our mom.  Our mother will celebrate her 97th birthday in November, dad celebrated his 92nd birthday in February.
I walked the shoreline holding my phone in one hand and my camera in another.  Once again photography and the creative process helping with the angst of life.

Love you dad!  I hope you know how many people are sending well wishes to you.

My dad and my daughters

Then I went to Sand City because everyone has been raving about the new murals that have recently been painted.  Color, beauty, imagination with a dash of magic!  It was the perfect distraction.

Sand City has made the blog a couple of times:

To Phil,
I have been revisiting our last days together in my mind.
Some very difficult times and moments of absolute beauty.
Love and miss you

I feel very lucky to live in a place that I can get up and walk to the shoreline.  The healing energy of the ocean is amazing and I have been soaking up as much as I can.  The morning is my favorite part of my day.
This morning the clouds turned deep colors and the gulls were my constant companion.

Clouds went from deep colors to pink to white.  I love to watch nature's cloud and light show.
My blog (journal) has been a blessing to me.  Letting me let go of the angst that surrounds me,  releasing negative energy from my being.
Walking and taking the images is a beautiful distraction.  The combination of fresh air, peace, exercise and looking for pretty things to take images of is making life better. Healing seems to be the outcome.

A quick stop at the jetty - the weather goes from very windy and then rainy, then proceeds to calm again.  Yahoo sea otters!

The rain just came in and out.  It makes taking pictures challenging, but I guess that life is just that way.  The good with the bad.  This situation with the corona virus is on my last damn nerve.  I continue to wear my mask and this socially awkward woman seems to be getting worse.  I like being to myself, with age and the virus......I could relish becoming a recluse.

Fisherman's Wharf was decorated for St. Paddy's day.  My dad is Irish, my sister born on St Patrick's day - I love the day and I find green pleasing.  Pleasant memories of Irish music, dancing and laughter.

At wharf II they were just finishing unloading fish from a boat and the gulls were everywhere, it was like a scene from the birds.  I had fun trying to catch just the right combination of clouds and birds.

A couple of scrub jays posed for me.  It's true the early bird does catch the worm.

Flowers are the icing on the cake for me.

For Phil
When we discussed how I would handle all of this - we were right on.
I'm working it out, I miss you immensely but I'm tough.  I love you, I still tell you several times a day.
