My Favorite Ten Images from Week 9 of My Wanderings - Feb 28 - Mar 6, 2022 - Searching for Inner Peace

On my morning walks.....I gather up feelings of peace.  As the day goes on, I find it challenging maintaining the feeling, staying away from the funk and keeping anxieties at bay.  Finding myself, after my husband Phil's death, has been an ongoing process and a constant search within.  I want to find that place of relaxation that I had before, the joy and fun that I used to feel and for goodness sake, to lose some of the stress that I've been carrying.
This week I started expanding my meditations and making sure to tune into myself.
Trying to grasp, that I can't fix everything going on in the world and that I need to breathe through the moments of anxiety.  I continue to use gratitude and beauty to get through day to day.
One moment at a time.

I take in energy from the morning sun.

Listen to the birds chirp and sing.

I know I'm learning to get my wings back.....

Sometimes hitting a rock!

Friends sure help!

The shadow side of me....
always with me and a little evasive.
I find success inviting the inner child out, because little Linda sure knew how to just take in a moment.  Suddenly an insect can be entertainment, the light reflecting off the water is doing a dance and the birds are talking to their fairy friends....in other words, I'm doing what I can to find joy, happiness and my free spirit.

My daughter Nicole got me this book for my birthday.  I'm taking time each day to sit outside, read and finding my inner Monk.

#10 new experience
I took video of mating monarch butterflies.....

My Favorite Ten Images from Week 6 of My Wanderings - Feb 7 -Feb 13, 2022 - Birthdays, hats and personal growth

It was birthday week for my daughter Noelle and I.  We had quiet but very nice birthdays.  Next week we will take some time to do a mini road trip to celebrate.  I'm hoping that will open up the opportunity for some creative image taking.  I'm feeling the need for an adventure and a stirring of the ol inspiration.  Screw this pandemic, I'm sick of it!  Damn it!
I feel like I'm in a place that I want to meld the Linda from before Phil was diagnosed with cancer, with the one that is coming out after losing him.  There has to be a middle ground here and I'm looking for the balance.  I feel like I'm still getting my legs after finishing 365 days of images, finding my way.
My morning walks continue to be a time to find peace...in fact I'm living for the mornings.

Spring is starting to show!

Beach walking continues everyday....

What's new??  # 6 of 64 new experiences in 2022
A new experience for each one of my years on the planet.

New hats!  I am currently growing a patch of hair where they did surgery on my head, I'm trying to make it fun and give it a chance to grow in.  Right now it is entertaining to watch it all happen.  I'm healing well and you are probably going to see a few more hats in the near future.

I ran into a car show this week.  I stopped and just allowed myself to remember the love of my life, we never missed looking at a pretty car.
I miss and love you Phil.
Happy heavenly Valentine's Day.

365 days of images - - Day 364- Jan 01, 2022 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- For Love!

Please click image below to online store.

Tomorrow morning is my last of 365 days of images.  A tribute to my husband Phil, a healing journey for me.  Not to mention I walked almost 1500 miles, took 1000's of images and spent every morning in nature.  I've walked through sea spray, rain, wind and fog.  My mornings have been spent with wildlife, under beautiful skies in my beloved Monterey Peninsula.  I have walked through 4 pair of shoes and have taken a few spills.  I feel like my image taking has improved, I have felt connected to Phil and it has given my motivation and a purpose to get up when sadness wanted me to stay down.  I have worked approx 6 hours a day on this project, between walking, going through photographs and preparing the blog.  It kept me busy.  I'm sad to let it go, because I feel like I'm saying bye to Phil again.....I'm happy because I'm ready to have time to work on some new projects.   I'm looking forward to the new year, I'm hoping it gets better for all of us.
.  Here's to new experiences and to love.  Phil has always been an inspiration to me.  I feel like a part of me has left with him, I'm still working on putting me back together again.  I believe this year has certainly helped me in the processes of the healing that I need.
After I finish tomorrow I'm going to rest for a couple of days.....

To Phil
You filled my life with passion, love and fun.
You know that I will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life.
I will always love and miss you.
