I got up early to catch the full moon this morning.
Fabulous, I say with a lyrical tune.
What an incredible morning.

Pink clouds and orange sunrise.

I've been finding roses by the ocean often lately.  Lots of weddings after the pandemic.

Sea treasures

Beautiful blue heron on the jetty and later on my walk in a tree.

Beautiful blue eyed Brandt's cormorant.

Cute sea lions.  This week I learned that they are the relative of the bear.

Reflections

Chubby harbor seal

Brown pelican

Gulls

Sea otter - keystone species.

Scrub jay and hummingbird

For Phil
Today was one of those days that Noelle and I could have used your great advice.  We had an idea what you would tell us but we could have used that hug and strength.  Your spirit still lives in us, your words flow from our mouths and your influence lives on through us.
We miss you!

365 days of images - - Day 309- Nov. 07, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Love of Nature Photography

My love of wildlife and nature has been strengthened by 365 days of nature.  Although I have always spent many hours outdoors previous to this, nothing to the extent that I have this year.  The amount of wildlife I have witnessed, the sunrises I've enjoyed and the 1000's of images I have taken, have enriched my life.  There isn't much longer in my personal challenge, under two months.  I wonder what comes next.....I know whatever it is, it will include two things that I love, nature and photography.

Harbor seals always look like they are smiling.

Whimbrels.

I watched the pelicans dive and take off.

Loon

Snowy Egret

Sea Lion

For Phil
You have left a hole in my heart.  As I told someone, you left very big shoes to fill.
I know that would make you smile.  I miss you.

That beautiful morning in Santa Barbara.
There were many.....
