365 days of images - - Day 252- Sept. 08, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Heart to Heart leading to Murals in Sand City

This morning as I walked, I talked to my sister on the phone.  She has been visiting our parents, my dad's health has recently taken a turn for the worse.  He has been suffering with Alzheimer's and has taken a couple of falls lately.  She has been making sure that I get to talk to him, keeps me filled in on what is going on and has been a wonderful support to me, the family and our mom.  Our mother will celebrate her 97th birthday in November, dad celebrated his 92nd birthday in February.
I walked the shoreline holding my phone in one hand and my camera in another.  Once again photography and the creative process helping with the angst of life.

Love you dad!  I hope you know how many people are sending well wishes to you.

My dad and my daughters

Then I went to Sand City because everyone has been raving about the new murals that have recently been painted.  Color, beauty, imagination with a dash of magic!  It was the perfect distraction.

Sand City has made the blog a couple of times:

To Phil,
I have been revisiting our last days together in my mind.
Some very difficult times and moments of absolute beauty.
Love and miss you

365 days of images - - Day 220 - August 7, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Sand City Community Garden , West End and Murals

I heard that there were new murals in Sand City, that was the destination of my walk this morning.  It was a lovely walk, I love murals in general but Sand City has a special place in my heart.  I started in the community garden, it was blooming, full of bees and hummingbirds landed in front of me.  Magical!

The sea on one side and Seaside on the other.  West Side is full of art, warehouses and unique businesses.

Color everywhere!

For Phil:
Love and Miss You
