365 days of images - - Day 280- Oct. 06, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- First Light of the Day

It was dark when I left home.  I headed toward Pacific Grove to catch lights of the store windows until the sun rose.  My first image was a city bus sitting outside the Lighthouse theater.
Immediately after I took the image, I caught my foot on the curb and took a fall.  I hit my hand and knee, sat down for a minute, assessed the damage and then I saw light starting to break over the ocean.  I brushed it off and headed toward Lover's Point to catch the sunrise.  ( I accidently recorded the fall on my camera, it turns out there were a few expletives as I fell)  I'm okay just a skinned knee.

I love how the clouds change color as the sun comes up.

I can't believe that there are only 85 more days of my personal challenge.  It has become more difficult to pull it off each day, as I get nearer to the finish.  Part of me will be excited to have it done, I have devoted many hours to keep this journal everyday.  I know Phil would have been pleased, he was my biggest support in anything that I pursued.  I also know that he loved me telling his story.  Going through brain cancer was quite a journey, and I feel this gave him a feeling of being remembered.  Now I will have to take on the next chapter of my life, it is a bit of a letting go as I near the end of the challenge, bittersweet.  I know that I will be amazed at the task that I will finish, 365 days of images, what a challenge and love it has been.   I have seen nature at it's best,  I've walked over a 1000 miles, pay tribute to Phil and heal myself walking by the ocean, in 365 amazing days.

For Phil
I hear your voice, I remember your hugs and I dream of our beautiful time together.
Until we meet again....

365 days of images - - Day 221 - August 8, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- John Denver Memorial Rock, Pacific Grove, California

It was a pet sitting night with Lula and Charlie.  Lula is a sweet soul who just wants to play ball.  We enjoyed our time together and had a photo session.  What a pretty girl.  Charlie is a cat that says he is not a fan of photo shoots.

I took a quick walk to what I call the John Denver Memorial Beach.  There is a stone with a memorial for him close to where his plane went down in 1997.  John Denver was a part of growing up, I still love his music.  It is one of my favorite beaches, plus there is usually birds, waves and tide pools.  The walks give me time to think, I seem to be needing the time alone lately.

For Phil
Missing you.

365 days of images - - Day 58 - Feb 26, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Grace, Molly and Pumpkin on a Foggy Day

(click on image below to online store)

Today I was lucky to get to start my day with three of my favorite beings - Molly, Grace and Pumpkin.  Phil and I started pet sitting them soon after we found out Phil had cancer.  Dog sitting came as a huge blessing to us, it allowed me to care give for Phil while we took care of precious souls.  Phil and I love animals and it ended up being a huge therapy for Phil to spend time with them.  Phil adored these three and so do I!  A great way to start the day.

Molly

Pumpkin

Grace

It was a very foggy day, a huge marine layer pulled into the bay.  I find it hard to take photographs in the fog but I decided to have fun with it, looking for color.

As I headed into the neighborhoods looking for images....I spotted this fun sign and gnomes!
I found myself looking for anything that would show in the low light.

I headed into George Washington Park.  The sun started to peek out from the haze and I enjoyed the wildlife in the park.

Back to the beach!  It ended up being windy and cold today.  I enjoyed my walk and I have enjoyed my visit with Molly, Grace and Pumpkin.

For Phil:
I miss you, not a day goes by that I don't remember your kindness.
