365 days of images - - Day 346- Dec 14, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Finding Light on a Gray Day

It was raining this morning as I left.  I decided to drive, so I could try out different locales to see if I could find a break in the precipitation.   I did, at Lover's Point, rain surrounded me but I got a 30 minute window to take some images.  It was high tide, the waves were big and my feet got wet.  It was cold.

I took a break at home, then noticed a break in the clouds again....
I couldn't resist another look.

It even snowed up in the hills.  The gull sits in front of snowcaps.

For Phil
What drifted over me today was the memory of one of the side effects that came after brain surgery.  There were many horrible ones but this one was pleasant.  You have always been nice, but you became sensitive to everyone, as if you could feel each person's feelings as they crossed paths with us on our walks. Never missing a hello as people passed.  You made friends with everyone along the coastal trail.  There seemed to be a sense that you got about others going through adversity and you connected with them.  I still see some of the people you made friends with.  I miss you.

365 days of images - - Day 201 July 19, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Thought, Imagination and the Beauty of the Bay

Feeling thankful for the healing beauty of Monterey Bay.
Today I heard news that someone I care about was diagnosed with cancer.  She gets added to a list of people that I know who are on journeys with cancer or serious illness.  I listen to the struggles that they all share, treatments are brutal, people don't know what to say and they all have fear to different degrees.  They also all have courage, heart, hope and most important the love of other people.  I'm always here if needed, I have lots of paying forward to do.

I again want to say thank you for all the love Phil and I received while he was on his journey.  I learned many lessons from the people who took the journey with us, thank you.

It isn't the words that are important, it is another soul being there.  You can't fix it with words although  a kind, "I'm sorry you are having to go through this", seemed to calm Phil.  Just knowing someone is there next to you can help quell fear.  Each card, act of love and prayer was appreciated. Each helped us make it through some very difficult days.  Thank you for the time that you gave us, the dearest gift of all.  Time out of your lives to listen, hug and reassure us was a priceless gift to us.

The beauty of the bay and then a nap.

For Phil
I can close my eyes and remember what your hugs felt like.
The warmth, the love and the comfort all exist in my mind's eye.
I can use my imagination to bring back the memories and love, they are all gifts that you left me.

365 days of images - - Day 70- March 10, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Heavenly Skies and Aqua Seas

(click on image below to online store)

Storms woke me this morning around 4 am.  Thunder and lightening a rarity around here.  Up early and I was out before the light.  A single fishing boat lit up the ocean.

The skies were the star today.  I love when we have clouds!  Spring skies have been pretty.  The pink clouds soon turned to rain clouds.

I shared about Phil again today with someone, I am guessing this is another step in healing.  Phil has been filling my thoughts.  I feel grateful that we had the love for the beautiful years we shared.   The walking continues to be the motivator, my time by the ocean is the best part of my day, I love the quiet and creativity.

The ocean looked pretty with the waves carrying an aqua light within them.

Clouds, splash and birds are a few of my favorite things.

and flowers......

The skies opened up and I walked an hour in the rain....
I was soaked but I found myself feeling alive.

For Phil
I miss you with all my heart.
You are irreplaceable.
One of a kind.....

Philly, I'm still taking my walks and they are helping....
