Grateful is the mood of the day.  I'm missing Phil and am feeling all kinds of emotions.  His birthday is coming, the first one without him.  July 9 it will be a year since he left.  What a year it has been.  Monterey Bay has been a healing force, the beauty, the ocean and the people.  I am grateful for all of it.  Monterey Bay is a godsend.  
 

I can see  a heart in the sky below, I can feel his energy with me.....I see hearts everywhere. 

To start the day, in the distance - dolphin!

The Cormorant chicks I've been watching are getting big.  No gull chicks, the nest I have been watching has disappeared.

I've been watching this nest but no signs of chicks yet.  The nest is a work of art though.

This boat owner has lots of surprises when they get back.

This heron flew from spot to spot until it caught a fish.  What happened after he caught the fish, took time, effort and was a sight to see!
