On day 262, I started early, it was still dark when I left home.

Through Cannery Row.

I'm always looking for wildlife on my walk.  Spending my time watching animals is my favorite way to pass the time away.

They have been all over the rocks along the shoreline.

Shy, quiet and tired as I walk by.

Each day as I walk, I look at the ocean through your eyes.

I remember how you would stare at the ocean, so calm just taking it all in.

I miss those times.  I'm turned to the inside, need quiet and am just enjoying the time around the bay..

Struggling with the thought of my dad not being around.  63 years - he was always there for me.

I sure miss you Phil.

A rough day for my dad.  

He has been surrounded by family and love.

The "ol" emotions are a little shut down.  

The walk was magical and needed this morning.  The wildlife was spectacular - bird feedings, sea otters, harbor seals, sea lions and more!

Going through these emotional times and remembering our last days together.  I miss the support and love you always had for me.  You knew me so well that we didn't even need to talk.  A look could mean everything.  I miss looking into your eyes, deep into your soul.
