To the jetty, it was a day of waves and wildlife.

As I walked down the jetty, I noticed an osprey diving at a fisherman's line.  The Osprey landed right above him on a lamppost.

I think the otters below might have been a mating couple.

I started my morning at Asilomar Beach.  Cloudy, windy and brisk made for a quick pace as I walked.

Birds and a couple of surfers were my company.

I'm fascinated by the reentry into the ocean.

Through Pacific Grove.

A stop at Lover's Point brought cute squirrels and a young gull diving after a purple urchin.  The gull would drop the urchin and dive again after it.  There seemed to be a learning curve going on, I enjoyed watching the attempts into the clear water.
