Feb, 05 is my Dad's birthday so we will start with a big Happy Birthday Dad!
Under the Eifel Tower
Todays walk was driven, I walked almost 4 miles snapping photos as I walked.
I believe I learned my love of walking from my dad. I can remember living in France and Germany and going on long walks, each one being an adventure. He would find animals, war remnants and could jump a fence like an athlete. Imagination just might have been another quality that I developed during those walks, I'm sure there were fairies in the woods. I love to walk, I find peace in nature and movement. I'm not one of those stand still kind of photographer, I'm a mover....
It was an orange sunrise.
We have great wildlife in our area and I'm fond of wildlife photography. Today there were a few of my favorites in image making distance and I had determination to catch a sea lion blowing the water. They snort, cough and blow water in impressive ways.
I headed toward the Custom House Plaza and enjoyed the first flowers coming it.
History and beauty, what more can you ask for?
To top a nice day off, I received a wonderful gift from a friend Queen Dilly Dally, I got the key to the Land of Make Believe. Thrilled because of the joy, the thought, and the love, I put it right into a frame.
It sits beside the medal I got for photographing my friends family marathon. They gave me a best photographer medal that I cherish. Janet the candles you gave me too! Treasures to life my spirit!!!
Thank you!
We met Queen Dilly Dally when we took our business and participated in a festival that was held in the Castro District in San Francisco.
It was a fun incredible day.
