365 days of images - - Day 23 - Jan. 22, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Rainy Day, Fishing Boats and Coot Feet

The day started out with rain, which is fabulous because we need it in California.  I find it a challenge to take photos without the light I so love.  I was apprehensive when I started but I ended up having a great time.

I found the clouds inspirational, entertainment with the Coots and I followed a fishing boat up the coast.

After I took my first images of a Coot in water, did my research to find out who and what they were about, I noticed that they had pretty fancy feet.  I have been obsessed with photographing Coot feet.  Funny I know, but today I stood still and they surrounded me acting like I wasn't there.  I was thrilled!  Ha!!

We have been having some big swells and all kinds of sea treasures have been washing up.  Again I found tunicates (pyrosomes) all over the beach.  I searched through shells and tidal pools, even finding a small sea star.

The day called for a peak at Pt Pinos Lighthouse in Pacific Grove.
