365 days of images - - Day 269- Sept. 25, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Big ol Attitude Adjustment at Moss Landing to Salinas River Beach

I started in Moss Landing this morning.  I had a rough night, was in a cranky mood.  My car is still not fixed due to waiting on parts, when I open and shut my door it makes a horrific noise.  I needed a change of pace...and what I found there - great white egrets in the trees.  Spectacular!

The image below surprised me when I saw it on my computer, I have never seen an egret from this vantage point.  I certainly can see how they can spot fish with those eyes.

A snowy egret in the harbor.

Hazy, smoky skies as I walked the Salinas River.

To Salinas River Beach, it certainly helped my mood.

For Phil
I hear you telling me how I got a raw deal because of what I had to go through as you went through your journey with astrocytoma brain cancer.  I reassured you what I had with you was the light of my life and I would be nowhere else.  I feel the same way now, I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that, but I would have been no place else as you went through it..  The 23 years we had together was incredible.  I loved every minute of it.  Thank you for leaving me with love and precious memories.  I know we will be with each other again....
I love and miss you.

365 days of images - - Day 237 - August 24, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Mist, Waves and Horses

I bumbled around this morning trying to find a place it wasn't misty to make it easier to take images.  I drove to Elkhorn Slough to find it closed.  Then to Moss Landing, there I struggled to keep my lens free of moisture.  I ended up walking on Salinas River Beach and taking pictures of waves.  The drizzle continued to be a problem for me, I decided on one more stop and I was delighted to see horse and riders come back from the beach.  I watched them groom and then they gave me a big treat as the horses rolled in the sand.  Made my day!

For Phil
One misty moment at at time.
Miss you!
