Today is my daughter Nicole's birthday.  I love you Nicole, hope your birthday was fun and full of love.  Next year, let's party together!

Today I missed your guidance with car mechanics.  I heard you  in my head, telling me, "you are fine".  I called AAA, and they helped, but I missed my personal mechanic.  I struggle with car "issues" because you took care of everything that had to do with the cars.  I should have listened and learned from all the car blab de blah that you tried so hard to teach me.  I am learning - I miss you!

Every morning my alarm goes off at 5:15.  I jump up out of bed and scurry out the front door to check the sky.  This morning I saw stars, I knew there was a chance for some light.  I threw my clothes on and off to the beach.  It started off gray.

Then a bit of pink.

Then the pink faded and glorious white clouds.

A quick trip to the jetty to see what I could spot.

You would be so very proud of Noelle.

She is doing great, has been a huge comfort to me after you left and as we made our way into a Covid world.  We both miss and love you.
