The morning started with a walk to the beach in Garrapata State Park.  The sun was peaking out and the beauty was astounding.  A favorite of Phil and mine, I had the area to myself.

Then to Point Lobos, I arrived as it opened.  Brisk, windy and a welcome walk.  I've been feeling like I needed inspiration.  I'm surprised at how much the year anniversary of Phil passing away has affected me.  I have bounced between feeling depressed to hopeful.  Point Lobos is always an inspiration.

See the cormorants on the rocks?

For Phil
I miss and love you.
I can't believe it has almost been a year.
Today something happened that I know that you would love.
There was a story about the blog in the Monterey Weekly.
It helped with my mood.

Thank you to the Monterey Weekly!

365 days of images - - Day 102- April 11, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Spiritual Sunday at Carmelite Monastery and Monastery Beach

My morning got started with feeling disconnected and not having a direction.  I let my subconscious lead and the morning ended up being one of spirituality, meditation and feeling connected to nature.  I started off where the Carmel River meets the ocean.  While I was at the Carmel State Park, I noticed they were blowing the sand off the parking lot where I was parked, it looked like a tornado around my car.  I jumped in the car, headed out and stopped at Garapata Beach,  where it was cold and windy.  I ran up and down the stairs and watched the ocean for just a minute before the wind blew me right out of there.

I didn't feel grounded, couldn't decide where I wanted to walk and then I remembered the Carmelite Monastery in Carmel.  Phil and I would visit there when we wanted to take a moment to meditate.
I walked the gardens, the listened to the bell chime and I took a moment to reflect and calm myself.

The walk around the monastery did the trick.  Feeling grounded, peaceful and in touch with my spiritual side, I headed to Monastery Beach.  I walked from there along the coastal paths back to the Carmel River State Park and back again.  The trail was filled with wildflowers, the ocean was a pale aqua and I felt the connection with nature.  I also made up my mind that I will take more adventures and try out some new trails.  The feeling that I want to travel up or down the coast is in my bones.....
Nature is calling me.  Nature is what stirs my spiritual side.  It was a good day.

For Phil
All the healing methods that we used, I'm still utilizing.
I miss and love you always.
I've got some traveling to do.
Phil I know you understand best.

Grace, you are in my heart.
