365 days of images - - Day 192- July 10, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Early Morning Walk around Historic Cannery Row

Foggy again this morning, that pushed me toward Cannery Row.  Looking for light, I like how the old and the new blend together there.  On a typical day there would be lots of foot and automobile traffic. In the morning, except for the sea gulls, it is very quiet.  There is a energy on the street, you can feel the history and it always gets my imagination going.

The aquarium is a huge part of life in our area.  If you haven't been, it is well worth a visit.  Allow yourself 2 or 3 hours to see everything.  Make sure to take a moment to talk to the people that work there, they are always willing to share their knowledge with you.

I can't pass the boilers without thinking of John Steinbeck's, Cannery Row.

There is always wildlife on either side of the "row" and there are coastal access areas with small beaches that always have treasures to offer.  The coast guard jetty also has wildlife and great views.  On the way to Fisherman's Wharf, you can spot harbor seal, sea lions, birds and otters.

Gardens and flowers are everywhere, if you just take a moment to look.  The foggy mornings give way to sunny afternoons.

To Phil
Love and miss you!
We sure had fun on Cannery Row.
