This day was one of those I dream of.  I walked to the jetty and the wildlife was abundant, active and beautiful.  On day's like this I can feel the connection to Phil.  When we walked together, he always spotted the wildlife that I took images of.  Today I felt he was helping me.
My logical side always steps in and questions, are you just making yourself feel better by believing and feeling this.  My heart says trust your intuition and let yourself feel him.  It doesn't matter what anyone else believes, it is about what I feel.  I'm learning to listen and trust myself.

My problem today was narrowing the images down, I got carried away taking pictures.  I'm still working on that as I write.  I figure I will do my final elimination as I go.
I like the sounds of wildlife photographer.  I grew up with my National Geographic and Wild Life Federation magazines, I love images of wildlife to this day.
.
A golden morning.

First thing I spotted was a sea otter just cruising through the ocean.

The sea lions have been out in full force this week.  Next to the jetty they climb onto the sides and underneath, and it makes it easier to get closer to them to take photos.

I got pulled in by a great egret, Phil was great at spotting them for me.  Sometimes very shy they fly away as you walk up.  This bird was intent on fishing and while I was taking pictures, I was photobombed by sea lions.

The ocean had golden ripples and the egret was beautiful in flight.

A sea lion creeped up and chased the bird to another area.

The egret's feathers and wingspan are elegant and beautiful.  I am often trying to catch the bird in flight, today it was like a ballet from one patch of kelp to another.

Then I spotted the breath of a sea lion.  I became obsessed with photographing it every time it barked.  I

I see a heart in this one.

The jetty from the shore.

Blue seas and itches.

A sea gull trying to eat a sea urchin.

The clear seas around the jetty.

I couldn't resist the dolphin fountain getting a cleaning.

For Phil.
You often worried that you were a burden to me.
There was not a moment that was so, instead you gave me love and were a joy to me.
I love and miss you.
I know you are with me.
I can feel you.
