Still not quite myself, building my stamina back up after my vaccine debacle.  Find myself taking naps and resting between small walks.

My dreams have been vivid and strange, as if I'm making new plans for myself in my subconscious.

 

The sunrise was muted reds colors.

The moon was still out.

Big waves.

365 days of images - - Day 239 - August 26, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- Black Tail Deer at the Tidal Pools

The morning started with black tailed deer at the tidal pools at Asilomar State Beach.  A very pleasant surprise to see them there.  I stayed off to the side and watched them for some time.  I love when I get the opportunity to see them by the ocean.  

Clear water at the pools.  It seemed like a lesson for the young deer. 

Black tailed deer normally breed in November and December.

Doe gives birth to one fawn or twins in the spring.

Black tailed deer eat a great variety of grasses, lichens, shrubs, and trees, including western red cedar, willow, salmonberry, red alder, and even poison oak.

They seem to be a smaller deer.  The bucks hang together, sometimes I see them by the shore.  It seems that the doe and fawns are all over the place right now.

I poked around looking at what else would show up in the pools.

Beautiful Morning, sunshine, warm temperature and my spirits matched.  Took one of my regular routes that turned into an extraordinary walk because there were young bucks on the beach.  Spectacular!

I spent about 30 minutes watching them move around the beach seeming uncertain with themselves.  A new experience, I would say by watching them.  Certainly made my day!
