365 days of images - - Day 111 - April 20, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH 2021 -- Carmel to Pebble Beach

A couple of weeks ago I spotted a sign on Carmel Beach that showed a coastal trail that looked like it headed in the direction of Pebble Beach.  I have been wanting to walk to there, our family has a had many fun times in Pebble Beach.  Noelle celebrated her birthday each year watching the ATT Pro Am. One year I went with her and got to see Bill Murray - Woo Hoo - I love Bill.  I also remember a very fun birthday dinner at Roy's.  We all benefited from my son in law Dain working at Pebble Beach.  Darin was married to my daughter Nicole, he passed away a couple of years ago, he was on my mind as I walked.  Thank you Darin, I smiled as I walked.

I headed to Carmel Beach and found the coastal trail.  The clouds were pink and added a little color to the gray sky.  The coastal trail wasn't very long, it was pretty and it led me right to the gate at Pebble Beach.

Following signs I ended up walking on an equestrian trail through the Del Monte Forest.
Gorgeous and green, I enjoyed that part of the walk.

To get to Pebble Beach I had to proceed walking on 17 mile drive.  That proved to be challenging, I had to walk on or right beside the road and there was tons of traffic.  I walked fast trying to get to Pebble Beach and off the road.  The houses were amazing, views spectacular and the golf courses were being utilized.

I headed up by the Market, I just took a moment to remember all the lunches that Phil and I shared there.  We would share a sandwich and enjoy the view.  I'm smiling....  Damn good sandwich, a blueberry muffin we could never say no to and just a bit of smoked salmon for Phil.

The Lodge is where Nicole, Darin, Phil and myself ate the most expensive hamburger we had ever eaten.  Best hamburger, we laughed and enjoyed ourselves.   I believe the hamburger was worth it because the memory is filled with joy.

I'm positive that Darin was having a giggle as I got in trouble for walking where I wasn't suppose to.  I was just trying to take a short cut.  Ha!

I was happy to get back to the equestrian trail, I prefer to walk where there is less traffic.  Next time I will stay on the equestrian trail and see where it takes me.

Darin looked happy at the 18th hole.  I miss the good times we had, it's hard to imagine how much life has changed for us all.

Phil and Darin cooking dinner.  Darin called Phil, Big Papi.
To Phil
I love and miss you.
You left me with a heart full of love, a grateful soul and a plethora of happy memories.
Oh how I miss your cooking!  and our meals together.
