Biggest lesson learned - Make sure to enjoy the beauty around you. The details, the small things are what end up mattering. Phil and I spent a lot of time while he was going through treatment walking where I walk currently. My challenge of taking 365 days of images, has made me explore and notice more detail around me. I'm always trying to remember to try to look at things as if I have never seen them before. Each day similar but each day has something new to give. Today the highlight was the flowers!
Layers....I seem to have layers that I'm just learning about.
Sea Anemones and the treasures that stick to them as the tide recedes.
I can't resist the otters and seals. Today Wharf II was busy getting ready for a fishing boat to come in, so I had to rush to let them work.
I love this area in Monterey, near the Custom Plaza, it is filled with very pleasant memories. Phil and I seemed to always be drawn here. When I'm near, I feel inspired and my creativity seems to come more easily. I know it is because I feel I'm enjoying it for Phil. He is a beautiful inspiration to me.
The garden always brings great joy and a quiet moment.
For Phil
Going through a rough patch.
Miss you and all the fun
Things feel empty inside.
