MRI results and balancing ourselves with the Art of Patrick Amiot and Brigette Laurent

Everything in life reaches for harmony.  Including Phil and I.
Noelle, Phil and I made the trek to UCSF for another MRI, doctors visit and EKG.
Tiring, stressful and necessary are the words to describe a visit.

This time the doctor looked at the MRI and although the tumor exists, is still visible and may have some minuscule growth, they were calling it stable on this visit.  We will have another visit in 6 weeks and at that time we will determine if we are on the correct path - Good News!  The goal to keep the tumor from growing and on this visit that was accomplished.  Celebrating each milestone and enjoying our moment.

In order to keep the tumor's growth at bay, Phil is continuing chemotherapy and will undergo another round tomorrow.  He will probably have some time that he will not feel very good for the next few days.  We are hoping that his body will respond well to the chemo this time, a treatment every 6 weeks for 8 more months.  He continues to take one day at a time, he is going in with a good attitude and courage.

We stayed the night outside of San Francisco after a long day of tests but before we headed home, Noelle said she had an Art Show that she wanted me to check out.  We took a drive into Sebastopol, California to look at the yard art that she was sure I was going to love.

We pulled into a lovely neighborhood, with gardens and incredible yard art, made from recycled items.  We had the best time strolling around and looking at art.  While we were looking, we learned it was the art of a local artists, Patrick Amiot and Brigette Laurent.  Thank you Noelle, it was inspiring, fun and a great way to bring up our spirits.

Phil, Noelle and I enjoyed each others company that afternoon and just enjoyed the art, the flowers and the beautiful day.

As soon as Phil is feeling better, we will be up and at our walks again!

Some days we have a slow start, we may be depressed and it feels like life may just get too overwhelming and then a friend, a hug or a kind gesture comes along that gives us joy and takes away some of the angst.

The visit to the doctors although necessary can be hard on the emotions.  MRI images, blood tests and hearing all the statistics can be overwhelming and a very large dose of reality.  We bring the harmony back with a walk, a breath of fresh air and a hug.

It continues to be the small pleasures that sustain us.

Phil is love, courage and hope all rolled into one amazing person.

Noelle thank you for your help this time!  We are grateful to each of you who continue to be there for us and help us through the trips to San Francisco.  It makes for a marathon day and we are lucky to have people who are there to help us through it.

We loved the Camping Yard Art!

Time.....always feels like it is going way to fast......

To creativity, to joy and to each moment of happiness, for each one I am grateful.

It is our "adventures" that make life worthwhile, thank you for your help making it all happen.
The art of Patrick Amiot and Brigitte Laurent made our hearts sing!
