Dogs as therapy - Incredible result, amazing what love can do

After looking at Phil's face in this photo, I can tell you that a sweet soul like Dos, can bring what lies in the heart, right to the surface.  We started dog sitting as a means of support but it has ended up as a blessing of a lifetime.  Brain cancer can be a pretty tough adversary.  That soul, sitting on Phil's lap brings more joy than one can imagine.  I watched Phil get excited as we got ready to start our job with Dos.  Now I'm sure all of you can see the joy all over him.  I am here to tell you the power of love from an animal is an amazing force.   I want to make sure each of you know that we appreciate and love the opportunity you are providing us.  Thank you for sharing your animals, it is providing Phil and I with an experience that there are no words to express.

This is a blog of joy, light and much laughter.

Dos - giver of light

Riley is nothing but joy - we have been sitting for her since she was knee high to a grasshopper.

Bella, always dignified and slightly annoyed by her sister.

Oh sweet sweet Bailey, we called Bailey our little Ewok, little man and Wookie.   Phil and I adored this little fellow.

Charlie could zip be dee doo all over the place.

Oops  Sometimes it's a kitty!  This one is Nicole's!
Jambo sensitive soul, good boy and Phil's buddy.

Teaka loves to relax, cuddle and will get you the newspaper in the morning.

Dagny, exuberant, loving and a very good boy!!!!!

Lily, perfect in every way!

Bito soft, sweet Mama's boy.

Roxy lover of carrots and cuddle bug.

Re, sensitive good girl, she saw the sights of Monterey while Mom and Dad went to the aquarium.

Hope.......that is what it is all about.

So I start this day filled with gratitude and love --
Thank you to all of your beautiful souls.
