Magical Rocky Mountain Adventure - ...Mom's 98th birthday

I just got back from a long weekend in Denver area.  My mother turned 98 this weekend, she lives with my sister near beautiful Boulder.  We had a family birthday party,  I got to spent time with my sister and enjoyed some precious moments with my mom.  My sister took me on a few drives into the Rocky's to get images.  We laughed, giggled while we drove through the mountains.   I was in awe of the beauty of the of the area.  These are the images I grabbed a long the way.

It was cold!

(Rosalie)
I loved my visit, so happy to see you.
98 years young.

Thank you Patti, Ron and Zach for the hospitality.

Nice to see you Shea and very nice to meet you Briar.

We had some lovely meals together and I have to give a big recommendations for these businesses in the Denver area:  Every one was wonderful in it's own way!

365 days of images - - Day 180 - June 28, 2021 - Linda's Intuitive Images LMH -- We celebrated Phil and his birthday at Big Sur

My mood and day started off gloomy.  It was sad to think of Phil's birthday without him.  Drizzling rain made it hard to take images.  I visited some of Phil's favorite places on the trails we had walked as he went through treatments.  I took time to sit on the benches, let the memories sweep over me and just breathe through it all.

Dolphin in the bay!

Noelle and I decided to celebrate Phil and his birthday at Big Sur.  We have many wonderful memories of our times there.  A beautiful lunch at the Big Sur River Inn, we sat in the grass, ate and watched the kids play in the river.  Then a memory filled walk by the lodge.  We stopped in the gift shop and bought the bumper sticker that Phil had said he wanted but we couldn't find the last time we went with him.  I will put it on the new vehicle as soon as it comes into my life.  We laughed, remembered and had a good time, a little color came back into life.

The restaurant packed the lunch in a cooler so you can eat by the river!  Fun!

For Phil
We missed you today. Noelle and I celebrated your birthday like we imagined you would want it at Big Sur.
I hope you can feel all the love that was sent your way.
Life isn't the same without you.....
