My daughter, Noelle and I decided on a visit to the San Francisco Zoo today. We headed up the coast and was greeted with fog so thick, it was hard to see to drive. We went slow and on the side roads, stopping in Capitola to watch the surfers.
By the time we got to the zoo, it was sunny.
The zoo was almost empty, some of the exhibits were closed due to the pandemic but we had the absolute best time. We strolled, watched the animals and just relaxed. I haven't been out much since very early 2020, I am trying to re learn to socialize a little bit, at the same time as keeping myself distanced. This worked out perfect. The zoo was quiet, beautiful and we had fun.

In Santa Cruz, we watched the waves crash on the rocks.
I loved this day.

They all made me smile!
You and I covered the California Coast from La Jolla to Crescent City, impossible to not to remember something delightful, everywhere I go.
