I'm becoming more in tune with the nature around me as I keep walking each day.  I notice slight changes where I walk, can recognize behaviors in the wildlife and have areas that will likely have animals for me to take images of.  I also have helpers along the way, the people that I see almost everyday, point things out to me or tell me what they have seen.  I adore my morning walks and am more than grateful for the beauty around me. 365 days of images is a blessing!  It is like a time capsule of the year, an amazing year it has been.  Healing, growing and starting a new chapter.
I am missing Phil, our anniversary is in a couple of days and I can feel it.  I've been trying to surround myself with happy memories.  After being together for 23 years there are hundreds of them.  I'm sure I will always miss him.  I am appreciative of each moment we had together.

Watching birds fish is astonishing, I've started to be able to feel when they are about to strike to get a fish.  There seems to be a grounding of self, eyeing the prey and then splash!  They often come up without anything, but when they do it is always exciting.  Snowy egret and its catch.

For Phil
The gift of love that you gave to me is appreciated and held close to my heart.  I have never felt so comfortable and loved for who I am.  The loved we shared was special and I realize more each day how loved I was.  I miss being able to share my day with you.  I'm sure this 365 days is my way of sharing what I have been seeing with you.  Each image is filled with love and longing.
I miss you.
A photo of our time with Chris and Scott.  Chris sent it to me today, I love it.  What a beautiful memory.  Remembering the visit, it was one of the best times we had as you went through treatment.  Thank you to Chris and Scott.....
