Low tide and low energy today.
A sea otter working hard for a meal. She went up and down, bringing up her finds. Some producing food and others just frustration. I've never seen an otter work so fast and furious.
Very few sea lions have been around. There had been 100's of them and now just a few. I looked up what was going on and it said they headed to the Channel Islands to mate. We have a mostly male population that live in our area and it seems they have to travel to meet the ladies. It seems very quiet at the jetty right now without them.
Cute Harbor Seals
For Phil
I miss you more than words could ever say.
Your essence remains with me.
Your voice is in my head.
Your hugs linger in my memory.
But my heart still yearns for you.....
Thank you Noelle for the help with putting the videos together.
Noelle and I were talking tonight about how Phil would have loved the blog.
I know he would be proud of us.
