Happy Mother's Day to my Mom!
A check in at Moss Landing to see what I could spot. There were more people than usual, I'm guessing it was because of Mom's day. A quick circle around, a hawk, egrets and a cute cat!
A walk around Castroville, the Artichoke Center of the World. Marilyn Monroe was crowned the first artichoke queen in 1948 and there is a Norma Jean bar on the main street. The walk was filled with charm and memories. The Trolley Car Grill is worth a stop in, one of my friends and her husband own the restaurant, recommended highly.
Giant Artichoke
In my eyes nothing prettier than a taco truck.
I spotted an area where I could get produce, show a part of our area that I rarely show. We are surrounded by farmland and crops.
For Phil
While Phil was going through treatments my mom sent him a card almost everyday. He loved it. In fact Phil was surrounded with love, prayers, gifts and cards. I hung cards all over the apartment so he could see the love.
I miss you Phil
