The sky was pink for just a moment and then it dulled to gray.
The sea lions were swimming to the jetty.
Fishing boats were out.
Sea Stars and Black Oyster Catchers for a bit of color.
The jetty - place of beautiful sea life.
The wave - the wave of grief that hit me today. Depression - sometimes it is hard to combat.

When I look at this photo from last year, I can see so many things....the decline, the heartbreak and your courage. I'm sorry that you had to go through the horrors that would follow...
I miss you and you will always be my hero.
You handled it all with grace, courage and love.
