MRI results - Healing Walks - Courage and Hope on our journey with Brain Cancer

We had a bit of a surprise on the last MRI results.  The hospital has a new MRI machine and Phil said it was a little more comfy but it seems it may read a little better too.  When we went to the doctor, he said there was a new spot on the MRI.  With that, he continued to say with the new machine, perhaps we had just spotted something else or something that had already been there that we couldn't see with the previous MRI's.  Phil will have to have another MRI to check to see what they are seeing.  We have 6 weeks before the next reading.

With that news, we had our moment of fear, we talked about how he would like to move forward if he has to have more treatment and we then had to put that thought and fear in a place where we can just continue with life until we know what is going on.  We have work to keep us busy, and we will move forward with courage, hope and love.  There has been love and support coming from our loved ones and friends.  It helps....

Of course we are getting out into nature, we are increasing Phil's CBD intake and I love you's are flying around everywhere.  Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, as we know they are helping us.

After we found out the news, we headed out on a walk and saw the tallest Holly Hock I've ever seen!  Phil is 6' 4" so that is one tall flower!

Noelle has been right here with us and providing love and support.  We have had some great lunches, laughs and are looking for fun activities to keep us busy for the next few weeks.

Thank goodness, and we are filled with gratitude for where we live.  It is car week so we are out and at it and taking in everything that we can.  We are living life to the fullest and will continue to do so.

Cars have played an important part of Phil's recovery and healing.  At first when he was very weak and suffering from huge anxieties, it was cars that would get him out of the house.  This year we have been catching them wherever we can.

A walk in one of our favorite gardens brought some joy, peace and a quiet moment.  If you get a chance there is a beautiful garden behind the Customs House in Monterey, right by the harbor and wharf.

And then we sat by the ocean and just took in the sights, breathed and talked.  We will live the next six weeks with courage, love and gusto.

and now we go to putting back the pieces, breathing and we are filled with gratitude for what we have!

By the way the new apartment is heaven......just heaven.

Please if you'd like to send a word of support, we still have our PO Box.
